About the job

Live-in caregiver to assist with all aspects of care for 74-year-old Dementia patient. Primary caregivers are already in place for 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. night shifts and for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. day shifts (7days a week). Website does not allow for "salary" positions so $/hour ranges are estimates. Client expects to pay $50, 000/year(+ or -) for this support role. Candidate would have a private bedroom/bathroom suite in 5400sq ft lakefront house on Lake Keowee. Basic living expenses would be included in the arrangement. Husband is managing caregiver and requires no personal assistance. This is NOT shift work. This is back-up assistant to provide help to existing staff of 4 and to help cover late arrivals or missed shifts (rare). Children or pets would not be allowed.
