About who needs care: I have MS and walk with a walker. I will be living with my son from December- May and would like to find a caeregiver to help with in house activites and drive to out of house- shoppping, appointments, social activities. The rest of the year I love in CT, and have an aid there as well. Looking for someone 3-4 days per week, midmorning-early afternoon, flexible hours would be great! About the care needs: Caregivers that have worked well in the past are positive, friendly, fun, patient, and intuitive (helps if they can remember things that I need, or need to be done). Experience with helping someone with a walker and occasional balance issues would be great. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
