We need a senior caregiver to provide hands-on care for my 87-year-old mother with dementia. She is somewhat immobile and will require lifting and transferring to wheelchair, toilet, recliner, and bed. Assistive devices available i. e. electric Hoyer, etc.. Mother is on 24 hour oxygen. My father is 93 and blind but very self sufficient except for meal prep. Assistance with medication is needed. Meal prep is required for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Computer and smart TV skills necessary. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. References required. One day a week 12 hour shift, usually Tuesday but occasionally may be a Weds, Thurs or Friday. $20/hr. Hours would be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and occasionally more. As they sleep a lot, there will be quite a few hours of down time.
