I'm looking for a long term, full-time hands-on care for my husband in his 70s. Must be dependable and willing to be on time for days chosen to work. My husband has Vascular Dementia, which means there are some days that can be difficult, but there are also days when he is quiet and requires normal maintenance. Important - experience with managing and administering medication under supervision is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Must be familiar with a hoyer lift and wheelchair. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing. Responsibilities include feeding. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with cats and CPR / first-aid trained. Communicator/ organizer a must.
