About who needs care: Requires fulltime care. Stroke survivor. Wheelchair bound. Uses hoyer to move from place to place. Does not have use of left side of her arm or leg. About the care needs: Soft personality and patience to figure out my moms needs as she sometime is unable to fully communicate. She is easy to love and is so sweet! Able to be my mom's eyes and ears when taking care. Must be a Christian. Must be able to work overnight as well. Can sleep when my mom is sleeping during the night shift but must be attentive if she needs assistance.. Nursing skills and experience with a Hoyer is preferred. Light house keeping. Comfortable driving my mom with her wheelchair accessible Dodge van. Must be comfortable using mobile wheelchair. Works as a team player. Have other caregivers that work well with one another. Comfortable with family and friends, are very active in her life. Cameras in the house. Daughter lives in Florida and keeps and eye on the caregiving. Need to be strong and physically capable of the job! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
