My dad is 93 and lives alone in Warwick. He still drives and even works for a few hours a day at a desk job. He is very sharp but has physically slowed down quite a bit. He can do everything as he always says but everything is a struggle. He's a nice guy and quite honestly is afraid of having a stranger in his home so we have to deal with that initially. That's why I emphasize friendly and a passion for this kind of work is so very needed. We are seeking care for him with preparing meals, maybe run errands or take him to the market or doctors visit, wiping down counter, taking out trash and just general help around as you see needed. Our preferences for a caregiver is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained, CNA or Medical Assistant a plus.
