About who needs care: Complete total assist bedbound patient very contracted blinds since age of 32 has not eaten for two weeks or drinking anything. She is just as of last week on hospice. We use a company that comes out and gets her out of bed and puts her to bed at the end of the day she sits in the recliner, but this company is horrible and they are charging them $50-$75 an hour for a home health aid that is not even certified. About the care needs: No specialized skills just dealing with a very old-school couple. She is very contracted her arms in her legs. She is very tight and we do have a Hoyer lift and hospital bed with air mattress all supplies. I am also available all of the time and can be called to come over and assist the aid with Miss Betty. I was a nurse for 10 years. I took care of her for the past year. Definitely a good personality fit would be someone who does not rush through her care. She is very fragile so a motherly type woman would be best for her. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
