About who needs care: My husband is a Parkinsons patient and one of his symptons is fecal impaction. He is being released from the hospital today. The hospital wanted him to go to a skilled nursing facility, but none of our choices have a bed. Right now he is very weak as he's been hospital for 1 week with almost no PT. He likes to watch TV and read. I cannot leave him unattended. About the care needs: A woman who has a nice personality, not a sharp personality! Someone familiar with Parkinsons. As for me. I'm easy to get along with. I'm stressed and don't get a lot of sleep. I, too, have some health issues, but my husband is my biggest concern. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
