Companion Care Needed For My Husband In Landenberg

About who needs care: My husband has many underlying conditions. He is physically disabled & uses a cane or walker When leaving the house. He can still manage getting up & down the stairs but has suffered pain since a failed spinal surgery, years ago. In addition to his physical limitations, he has heart issues which have been treated with by-pass surgery & stents. He often rests til about noon & takes many meds, which are organized in weekly pill containers. He manages his other meds, as needed. I will be away for two weeks in Nov. & would be most comfortable knowing someone was checking in regularly, 3x per week for 3 hours shifts, to support his needs re: some simple food prep &/or picking up food or items he may need. Also, washing up dishes & doing a load of wash would be great, too. Depending on how he feels each day dictates on how he'll spend his time. On poor days, he spends day in his recliner. On better days, he may be up & engaging with workmen at house or attending doctor's appts. or on the phone. About the care needs: An ideal personality would be warm & friendly & patient. He enjoys people but a brusque style would not fit. He operates at his own pace & can not be rushed. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
