About who needs care: This is my adult sister who has intellectual disabilities and needs mostly companionship, and someone to take her out for the day (twice a week) to allow me to work, and to give her interaction with 'the world' outside the home where she lives with me. Her ideal day would mimic that of a child spending the day with her mom - doing errands, some activities, having lunch, etc. About the care needs: Ideal caregiver would be very outgoing, kind, understanding, and accepting of my sister's personality quirks and limited range of interests. (Her particular 'obsessions' are the Kennedy family, Princess Diana, the Beatles, and the 1960's). Happy to have some of her care provided in your home, as a main goal is to provide a way for her to be out of our house 2 days a week. (Tuesday/Friday are listed, but this is flexible).
