Searching for a soft spoken, compassionate caregiver with dementia/Alzheimer's experience. Preferably with healthcare/CNA background. Our sweet mom is in mid-late stages of Alz and needs evening personal care (4:30-7:30 pm). Primary responsibilities include help with dinner (microwave meals/prompts to eat), toileting, showering, medication administration, dressing, brushing teeth, companionship. Our self-sufficient dad will be in the home at this time, but is physically unable to help. We are looking for 9 hours per week to start, possible increase including some weekend hours. Looking to establish evening routine with personal hygiene care after mom arrives home from adult daycare. Our mom is usually tired after adult daycare but would enjoy short walks in the neighborhood or relaxing sipping tea watching tv.
