About who needs care: 95. 5yo husband, just slow and sleeps a lot, cannot leave him for hours unattended in case he needs assistance (and he will not wear a trackable watch, etc.). He uses a walker/is supposed to, and can typically get to the bathroom in time; he is able to make some simple meals too/likes too. He just basically needs oversight when/if I need to be out of the house. About the care needs: Stan was a nuclear engineer here at Westinghouse; he is STILL very very strong-willed, stubborn, and opinionated. He was born in mainland China in 1930, so Chinese is his first language, though his English is excellent. The main issue is he has pretty bad hearing loss (due to stubborness in refusing a hearing aide), so you must mostly speak close to his right ear to ensure he is hearing and understanding. He likes to do things for himself, but does need help from time to time, and to ensure he doesn't accidentally fall, etc. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
