About who needs care: My mother recently turned 90. She lives at home with my father who will be 90 in 2 weeks and my brother . She has alzheimers and in recent weeks and a brief hospital stay she has declined a little. I'm her daughter and I need some support and so does my father. What we would need: -Help dressing, changing and feeding. She has little appetite so lots of encouragment. - daily walks, she can walk on her own but does have a walker. she enjoys being outside always has. - She enjoys music and anything really. Someone who can make her laugh and show her lots of compassion. We want someone who will help and build a beautiful bond with our loved one. Experience with alzheimers is a must. About the care needs: funny , compassionate, honest. someone who is family oriented because she is. My mother was a wonderful cook and baker so if these are skills you have thats a huge plus. she was a church woman and sang in the choir for many years. must have knowledge of alzheimers and assisting those 90 and above. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
