About who needs care: My mother has Alzheimers and she is a diabetic. She recently injured her ankle and is slowly recovering but her mobility is compromised. My sister (whom she loves with) is her primary caregiver but needs assistance with giving care. We are looking for a nurse to help in the mornings (getting my mother out of bed, help with toileting, bathing, getting dressed, preparing breakfast) for my mother. And then care in the evenings (preparing dinner, toileting, giving insulin needle and helping to bed). My father (83) also lives with my mother at my sisters home (in law apartment) and he is pretty independent (can care for himself) but cannot help my mother or cook meals. About the care needs: Someone kind, caring and able to lift/assist my mother out of her chair, out of bed. My mother does use a walker and she does have a wheelchair that she uses from time to time. Someone who enjoys some conversation. My parents are very friendly people. My mother is recovering from a sprained ankle that occurred on October 4th, 2025. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
