Companion Care Needed For My Father In Portland

Help needed for my father in his 80s - who has advanced dementia. We are seeking part-time companion care. He lives in an adult care home so most of his needs are covered, but we need someone to provide one-on-one interaction with him, so the staff at the home can help the other residents who live there. The ideal caregiver should have experience interacting with a person with dementia and able to do so with friendliness, patience and humor. This person would also know how to redirect him if he becomes anxious or agitated. He also requires some light personal care, in helping him use the restroom. This is a great opportunity to work with a great guy, in positive care home setting.
