About who needs care: Stroke recovery with impaired mobility of left arm/leg, diabetic with high blood pressure. Hobbies include poker, movies, basketball. Ideal day would include a shower, breakfast, meds and light physical, occupational and/or speech exercises provided by the family and an afternooon nap. About the care needs: Light-hearted individual with a sense of humor and creativity in managing impaired cognition due to stroke. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
