About who needs care: Barbara has had a few falls, now using a walker full time to support her fractured right hip. She needs support around the house, going on walks slowly over time. A jazz musician as her career, she has a creative and silly side to her personality. Wanting to someday pass at home is her wish, having ongoing in home support is the only way I believe this to be possible. About the care needs: Someone with a kind, lite personality, to support Barbara during time of healing, who may be interested in a longer term job supporting her. Important skill for her would be patience as she does have lite dementia as well as mild depression. With that being said someone to go on a walk with her, meal prep and eat with her and even support bathing if she needed it at some point. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
