My name is Teri and I am 54. I was previously very active. I'm having left glute reattachment surgery Oct. 7th. I will be on crutches about 6 weeks with no weight allowed on my left leg. I will be in a leg & mid section brace. I've never had surgery so I'm guessing on the length of time that I will need help, but probably about 4-6 weeks. I will likely need help 20 hours per week. Days and times are flexible. I'll need help with timing for taking meds, bringing me food, refilling my water, light housework including cleaning up dishes, putting groceries away, laundry, etc. I may need rides to Dr appts, PT, etc. I may need help getting to the shower and bathroom. I will need help/spotter using stairs. I have a sweet cat, and I'm pretty nice to be around. :-) Thank you for considering my request for help.
