Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Bend

About the job

We are looking for a caregiver to come to my parents' home 3 x per week to be with my Dad. We have some flexibility with days/times but prefer 10-1:30 (M, Th & Fri). We need someone who is kind and gentle who can help with light housekeeping, prompting him to take medications with meals, some personal care/showering, dressing, etc. He was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2019 and it is progressing. We are seeking to keep my Dad home as long as possible and want to be sure my Mom gets regular breaks as she is his main caregiver. He is very gentle himself but does get confused and often needs reminders. He doesn't like a lot of conversation, but he does want a friendly companion who engages with him and lets him know what they are doing (when cleaning, meal prepping, etc.) and reminds him where my Mom is at.
