About who needs care: Father has dementia and has no short term memory. Long term memory from childhood and adulthood is good. Reasoning skills are good and is cooperative and friendly 95% of the time. He has an injured left hand and needs extra help because of that, dressing, washing, other day to day things. He likes scrambled eggs, sausage and coffee for breakfast between 9 and 10 a.m. Other meals are flexible but lunch is usually around 1 p.m. and dinner around 6 p.m. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who is friendly, caring, patient, reliable and trustworthy. Three days a week is good for a total of 36 hours but it's possible we could use more help at times. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
