About who needs care: Her name is Sue. She basically lives in her recliner 24/7. She can use the walker to go to the bathroom for showers but cannot bathe herself. It is a walking shower. My wife checks on her nightly to ensure Sue has food, clean clothes, changes out the pad(s) on the recliner she lives in. Joy also takes out the trash and cleans the dishes and does her laundry. Id like to find help to relieve my wifes stress. About the care needs: Patience, avoid talking politics. Hobbies might include sewing and especially needlepoint. Sue has a degenerative eye disease that has prevented her from enjoying the needlepoint as much. She loves to tell stories of her life growing up in Southwest Missouri on a farm and how she was bullied by her siblings. We just listen and nod most of the time. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
