About who needs care: Age 79. Was living independently but has been in a rehab facility regaining strength after a fall. We are working on getting him into assisted living but will need an interim plan for a gap in care after he is released from rehab until we find him somewhere that can provide him the support he needs. He has good and bad days in terms of transferring himself, bathing, meal prep. But will need to have further discussions with him on his needs. About the care needs: He can be stubborn, so someone who is firm but kind is important Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
