About who needs care: My mom has mobility issues that keep her home. She gets around with a walker and doesn't drive anymore. Her needs include housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and errands. Although my brother can usually get her to doctor appointments, it would help to have someone available for transportation. She is not active. She mostly watches TV. She would need help every couple days for a couple hours to keep up with errands and cleaning. About the care needs: A compassionate and patient person would be great. My mother is hard of hearing and is depressed and anxious. Her mood can be unpredictable depending on how she responds to certain people. She mostly watches TV. Her attention span for hobbies is very short. She loves cats, is a proud native of Scotland, and was once a line dancer. Her back and hip issues have kept her from dancing for years. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
