About who needs care: I'm a licensed physical therapist who is scheduled for L THA on 12/17. Don't have a large social circle and husband could use a break as well. Hobbies: music (play piano and drums), movies, reading (novels, sci-fi, non-fiction) About the care needs: Curious and compassionate Emotionally mature Able to have a conversation and are able to listen; that is, they don't use me as their therapist. Some give and take and sharing is normal. Knowing when not to overshare or overstep boundaries helps protect me while I'm recovering from major surgery.
