About who needs care: Sharon has Alzheimers and is in assisted living. All of her main needs are met! We have had someone come in once a week for things like gathering laundry into a hamper and taking it across the hall into the laundry room; maintaining the cat fountain for the community cats who visit; watering plants; and visiting a bit! Sharon is quite with it in the moment, just does not have any particular recall. Stories may be told and re-told. She is a retired nurse and respect is very important to her! About the care needs: - a sense of humor is always a plus - naturally respectful, addressing her as a peer - patronization upsets her - must love cats! The community cats visit often and are a frequent topic of conversation. - patience definitely required Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
