Reliable caregiver needed M-F 7:50 a.m. - 4:50 p.m. We are looking for a dependable and compassionate caregiver for my 79-year-old husband who has had two strokes and uses a power wheelchair. Duties include showering, transfers, light housekeeping, laundry, feeding (pureed diet), and bed exercises. We have an adapted van, so driving to therapy and occasional/routine appointments is needed. I am a full-time teacher so reliability and consistency are very important. We also have a friendly dog in the home. Our dedicated caregiver of six years is starting her own business, and we are hoping to find someone caring and trustworthy to join our routine. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained.
