About who needs care: Poor memory. He generally sits quietly in his chair most of the day. He has an indwelling catheter and is still ambulatory with a walker. He generally feeds himself if the food is prepared. We really like people to read books to him. We have 44 hpwk VA coverage during the day from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mon-Sat. Ours could be adjusted. About the care needs: Someone who enjoys listening to quiet Christian music, and radio programs, and likes to read good books out loud to him. He also needs to be assisted in getting up and down, and taking exercise walks, especially in the house several times a day. I usually provide his care in the evenings and overnight while I am not at work. However, I am going with my family on vacation for 2 weeks and need substitute care.
