About who needs care: She has hepatic encephalopathy, and is very confused most of the time. Has difficulty realizing that she is in her own home, and sometimes cannot recognize her own children (much like Alzheimer's). She is funny, wanting to move around, and can be fun to be around when she is having a good day. About the care needs: Someone who is experienced, patient, won't be overwhelmed with anxiety outbursts, and willing to lend an ear to her worries. Friendly and okay with driving to various appointments, helping with meals/snacks and cleaning up around the house. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
