Seeking hands-on care near Hamlet of Wallkill for my grandmother in her late 90s. Grandma is a great conversationalist but does suffer from sundown syndrome. She loves puzzles, music, light exercise and classical movies. Assistance with medication is needed. This is a unique opportunity as it involves house cleaning, along with care. Grandma's daily routine varies. Assistance with bathing is required. Responsibilities include feeding, breakfast, lunch and dinner with snack times. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. No special diet. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We will need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate (to discuss at interview). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. Please reach out if you have any questions.
