About who needs care: Looking for a private, live-in HHA for my 94-year-old mom recovering from a TBI. Can walk short distance with walker/aide by her side or wheelchair. Dad is also home but pretty self-sufficient and drives locally but prefer he doesn't drive at all... Mom needs help with personal care, bathing, meal prep, mobility, medication reminders, light housekeeping. Must have a clean drivers license and be able to drive both parents to doctors, senior groups, therapy, grocery shopping. Can use dad's car during work hours. Private bedroom with bathroom in lower level of house, driveway space for personal car. Mini fridge, Couch, New Twin bed/bedding, Cable Tv, WiFi included in bedroom. Quiet street with yard. No pets. Rockland County, NY -North Rockland area. Applicant needs to show proof of US citizenship/Green Card, drivers license, HHA Certificate, work references. 2 days off each week. No meals provided. English speaking, female. Start date within next 2 weeks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
