Recovery Care Needed For My Father In Slate Hill

About the job

I am looking for an experienced care provider for my father in his 80s. This person should have experience with diabetic care (meal prep, glucose monitoring, etc.) and pain management (he is recovering from 2 broken ribs). Assistance with medication tracking and dosing is needed. Preference for someone open to light house work, has their own transportation, a non-smoker and comfortable with pets (there are 2 cats in the house). My father is a spirited, intellectual and energetic man. This caregiver should be lighthearted, understanding of his frustrations and disciplined about the parts of his care that really matter. Ideally, caregiver will teach him (and my mother) habits that he can adopt. Hours and start date to be firmed up upon discharge from the physical rehabilitation center of the hospital.
