About the job

Join a small team providing around the clock care for an 87-year-old woman in her apartment in Glenville, NY. She has partial paralysis and a brain injury from a stroke. The job requires hands-on personal hygiene care including toileting and showering. Requires safe transfer techniques from bed to wheel chair to toilet using a gait belt or hoyer lift. CNA or nursing home experience is strongly preferred. Also includes cooking, cleaning and laundry. No smoking allowed in the apartment or on apartment grounds. Available Shifts Friday Night 8 p.m. -9 a.m. Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 9 a.m. (will consider 24 hour shift) Sunday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. - alternating weekends (will consider24 hour shift) Weekdays 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. Resume and references requested.
