About who needs care: My father has prostate cancer that has metastasis's to his spine, pelvic, ribs and skull. He mainly needs supervision to avoid falls. Recently he has had a change in mental status, he gets confused and can no longer be left alone or administer his own medications. He can feed him self, but needs meals prepared. He has a very positive attitude and tries to stay as independent as he can. I hope this is helpful! About the care needs: Positive upbeat disposition, patient, kind and honest. My father likes to go to the local tavern for lunch daily! He drinks soda, and will visit w friends. This is one activity that is very important to him. He used to drive his scooter over but now we drive him, since he is having trouble remembering things. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
