About who needs care: She has been diagnosed with dementia, and knows it's happening. She often misplaces things, or forgets what she has or hasn't done. She loves reading, old-time tv westerns, 50s music, baseball, and cats. We had a live-in caregiver, who now has a job 8a-5p outside the home. She's an early riser and can no longer driver. With no company and being unable to leave the house she's desocializing quickly and becoming afraid to leave. About the care needs: She would need reminders to take meds, and shower. Prepping lunch would be appreciated. She will occasionally need transportation to medical appointments. Mostly she needs a friend and something to do with her day. Previously she was always talked to everyone. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
