Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Red Hook

About the job

My mom has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, which shows up as balance issues, some incontinence, and some memory/cognition issues. We are working on managing her symptoms, but she needs hands-on care at her home in Red Hook. We have a team of aides, most of which have been with us for over two years. Aides support with meal prep, bathroom/grooming support, light housekeeping, and sometimes errands/transportation when appropriate. Looking for a caring and compassionate person to join the team and be understanding with my mom's diagnosis. The team of aides rotates/shares weekends and we plan shifts 1-2 months in advance - so looking for someone responsible.
