Our 93-year-old mom lives independently, and wants to continue to do so. Her care needs are mostly related to her mobility. She just had some home-based physical therapy, and uses a Rollator at home. We're hoping that someone can help her regularly perform a set of exercises from her physical therapist, and also encourage her to use an exercise machine at home. Regarding other potential needs, while our mother is reasonably independent with respect to ADLs, she's not cooking much. Other support could include food/meal preparation and doing dishes/loading the dishwasher. Our mom enjoys good conversation and remains pretty sharp when it comes to world and national news. Our mom's needs for now are for 2 hours twice a week (such as Tuesday and Friday), with some flexibility for the right match. Perhaps additional hours/days in the future.
