On certain days, she may also ask support in preparing a meal or bringing up a grocery delivery from her building lobby. She also has a very friendly golden retriever that the caregiver would ideally take outside to use the bathroom before they depart at 4 p.m. My mother does not have any cognitive impairments and is a good communicator, so she will likely have a list of to-dos ready for her caregiver for each visit. She provides clear directions and will be able to answer any questions you may have.
