About who needs care: He is 90 and has good mobility with a cane. He has emphysema which is mostly asymptomatic. He lives alone and has recently stopped driving. He has age related memory loss which is gradually worsening, but he is generally alert and talkative. He takes frequent naps. He needs companionship , help with taking medications, meal preparation, laundry, transportation, maintaining a hazard-free environment , and hygiene and hydration reminders. About the care needs: Ideal caregiver has elder care skills and experience, and is patient and talkative with a good sense of humor. Preferably bilingual in Spanish, French, Italian, German, or Haitian creole in addition to English. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
