Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Cornwall, New York

Seeking hands-on care near Cornwall, New York for my father in his 60s. He's a very friendly and funny guy. Following a brain surgery and stroke, my father needs 1 caregiver to assist in daily tasks. He is partially mobile and continues to improve at sub-acute rehab and is set to come home 10/30. After his return home, we will need one aid to care for him daily. Medication management is required. Would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing, mostly getting him into and out of the shower, but he is able to bathe himself. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation and assist in walking as he gets stronger. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from out patient rehab appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR trained. We have 1 senior dog.
