About who needs care: My Mom needs some minimal care with ADLs and grocery shopping 1-2 days/week. Day and time is completely flexible and can be easily changed. She is starting to have some memory issues and has severe cardiac issues but is able to ambulate short distances. She mostly needs help getting in and out of the shower and assistance in the grocery store. I may need someone that can bring her to a doctor appointment on occasion but that would be infrequently and I would be able to provide a car to transport her. She is funny and can be a lot of fun. She can also be stubborn at times if shes having a particularly bad memory day but never mean. About the care needs: I am looking for someone who can help to allow my Mom to maintain her independence as much as possible. She loves music and is a former hippie so someone who loves music is a bonus. This is probably be a very easy position to be in and could easily fit around in for someone who has a full time job and needs some extra cash since days and times are 100% flexible. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
