About who needs care: My mother is recuperating from sacrum fracture. My father is ill too and can't support her. She needs supervision when walking with the walker. Needs support climbing the stairs. Reminders to take her medicine. At night she fatigues and needs help with dressing for the night time. Occasionally she needs assistance with toileting especially if she has a BM. She has bedsores that require cream and a bandage if they peel off or if she has a BM. My brother and I are rotating staying with her. We are looking for someone willing to do 3 overnights just to give us a break. About the care needs: We need someone who can administer her meds and apply ointment and bandages if necessary. Someone who knows how to be a safety support on stairs. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
