About who needs care: Tom independently in 14 unit apartment-ada accessible. Near Kleinhans. Tom has memory issues. I go to his apartment to help him get ready for paratransit transportation at 12:15 to Schofield Adult day center. They give him his meds, feed him and get him home at 5:30 Monday through Thursday. I need help doing this has I have been @Buffalo General Hospital and he now has no one to get him to daycare. I have been withhim weekday mornings from 10:30 and leave at 1:30. About the care needs: The aide needs be someone who has experience with memory / dementia issues, is patient and can appreciate a cranky old men who has a very dry sense of humor. He is liked and well behaved at day care. We would like to keep him going there as long as possible. Without morning assistance this wont work. l live 3 blocks away and am always available to consult. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
