About who needs care: I need help for my 91-year-old dad with Alzheimers/Dementia. He has limited mobility (uses walker/wheelchair), and he needs assistance with all daily activities (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting, eating). Medication management is needed. About the care needs: Someone who is calm, caring, patient, and trained/experienced working with dementia/Alzheimer's patients. Not required, but a huge plus if someone can speak Italian (it's his primary language and he's reverted to speaking it). He understands/speaks English but forgets and switches to Italian. Looking to potentially hire 2 full-time caregivers for 2 different 8-hour shifts, 7 days a week. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
