We are looking for a caring, compassionate, and dependable caregiver to provide companion care for our 21-year-old son with autism. He is calm, cooperative, and works well with his team of therapists. At least 2-3 afternoons per week from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 PM, located in the Astoria area. Responsibilities include: - Providing supportive companion care - Assisting with meal preparation and light cooking - Handling light housekeeping as needed - Ensuring safety while he works with therapists - Running occasional errands or grocery shopping when appropriate Requirements: - Must have prior experience working with individuals with autism - Must be able to pass a background check (you will be paid through an agency) - Patience, consistency, and clear communication are essential - Must be reliable, respectful, and attentive
