Weekday Daytime Caregiver Needed For My Father In Genoa

About the job

We need someone to spend time with my father while I am at work. He recently had a stroke, but he is doing pretty well. He is a kind and gentle man who wants to watch old timey shows and talk. He does have a catheter that needs to be drained, and he will need help with getting to the toilet and cleaning up. He will not need medication (at least at this time), and it would be great if you could prepare snacks and a possibly a small meal, like a sandwich. Mostly, we want my dad to be treated with kindness, patience, and dignity. He needs help getting up and down, but is making great strides of improvement. We would like to feel as though you are a part of our family!
