About who needs care: Our mom Tien is 71 years old. She has been experiencing short and long term memory loss for the last few years, but is still independent with most ADLs. Her interests include art, music, scrabble, jigsaw puzzles. About the care needs: We are looking for someone to live in our home and provide approximately 25 hours per week (schedule negotiable) in exchange for room and board and an additional monthly stipend. Seeking someone empathic, kind and patient. They will assist with mom's daily tasks and hobbies and occasionally drive her car for errands or outings. My sister and I are very involved in mom's care giving and we hope that this flexibility will allow you to pursue outside additional work if desired. Svcs needed: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
