About who needs care: Lacy has COPD and is on oxygen full time but otherwise very independent and capable. Just getting to the point where she gets tired quickly and could use support to keep up with social activities, errands and household tasks a couple days/week. Would appreciate someone who can recognize medical issues or concerns. About the care needs: Good listener, curious person who enjoys conversation. Respectful of time commitments and desire for dignity and independence. Some experience with oxygen concentrators and walkers to assist mobility helpful. Willing to do light manual tasks of lifting things, etc. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
