About who needs care: Searching for home aides to support and work with patient entering hospice. Patient is weak, will be on oxygen, and have gaps in care from family caregivers - schedule TBD. Need to help with basic care (bathing, feeding, preparing light meals. linens, laundering, repositioning & toileting.) Needs will likely change as patient transitions through end stage cancer on hospice. About the care needs: Nurturing, able to be astute since the patient can't speak - but can whisper. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
