About who needs care: My husband had a stroke. He has dermentia and he has incontinence. He is wheelchair bound. We use a Hoya lift to get him from the hospital bed to the wheelchair and from the wheelchair to the hospital bed. He wears diapers 24x7. He needs help dressing and personal care (bed baths etc.) and with feeding. Looking for help in the mornings to change him, bathe him, dress him, and feed him breakfast. About the care needs: I am looking for a skilled and compassionate home health aid who has experience operating the Hoya Lift and with giving bed baths and caring for patients with dementia. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
