About who needs care: My mom is 89 and really just needs rides for appointments. I would love for someone to check in on her a few times a week too but she's extremely resistant. Even resistant to getting a ride but I'm trying to gather info. Depressed since my Dad passed almost 3 years ago. No hobbies. Has a dog who she takes on a short walk every day. About the care needs: Good question. She is from Puerto Rico. Maybe speaking Spanish. But that's not required as she is fluent in English. Services needed include: transportation.
